Home Swap Sites ]]>

The vast majority of websites like HomeSwap dealing with house exchanges deal with council tenants and they range from extremely complex arrangements with lots of user friendly options like email messaging, posting your own wanted ads, forums and chatting to basic sites that simply list properties available for swapping.

Some of these sites charge for using their services and others are free but you need to register.

However, many sites that do charge also charge landlords and where your landlord is already registered and paid-up your membership maybe free. You need to check the terms and conditions beforehand.

To find out what’s best for you it’s best to have a good look around and see if what they are offering is what you need, if not, move on.

We would advise looking very carefully at the membership terms if you are paying with credit card and the like as often sites can have recurring memberships every month, or year and if you forget to cancel your membership when you are finished you can easily end up having your membership renewed without you knowing about it until you see you card statements!

Some of the general services that are available with home swap sites are things like, Fast instant access 24/7, Free photo hosting for your home swaps, many new council exchanges and home swaps added daily, chat rooms, ability to display your personal contact details, email notification for new properties or people with interest in your property swap.
